Recent Grand Palace Hotel Review: "Vi har vA¦rt pA¥ romantik ferie og kunne ikke valgt et bedre hotell i Riga. Beliggende i gangavstand til det meste(midt i gamlebyen) ligger det der som en vakker oase A¥ komme "hjem" til etter dagens eventyr. Og ALT pA¥ hotellet er fantastisk. De ansatte A¸nsker deg velkommen og gjA¸r sitt beste for at du skal ha det bra. Det er stilfullt og vakkert, oh rommene  er behagelige og har alt en forventer og mye mer. Sjokolade pA¥ hodeputen og vannflaske pA¥ nattbordet ved klargjA¸ring til natten er hyggelige detaljer og sier noe om graden av omsorg ved dette hotellet. Restauranten er ogsA¥ helt fantastisk. Vi fA¸lte ikke behov for A¥ oppsA¸ke noen annen restaurant noen av de tre kveldene vi var der, for her var alt en kunne A¸nske seg. UtsA¸kt mat, fantastisk pA¥ smak og sA¥ delikat servert at vi er mA¥llA¸se fremdeles. OgsA¥ her var servicen fremragende, servitA¸rene var der hele tiden og oppfattet vA¥rt minste vink. Her tilbragte vi mange timer. Vakkert lokale, mye A¥ se pA¥ og behagelig musikk mens en spiser og drikker de lekreste retter og drikker. En hadde hele tiden ogsA¥ fA¸lelsen av A¥ fA¥ mer enn en betalte for, for vi fikk ved flere anledninger en liten ekstra forrett ,velkomstdrink eller lignende som vi ikke hadde bedt om "with comliments from the chef". Deilig! RengjA¸ringen av rommene var som alt annet ogsA¥ perfekt. Rommet ble rengjort og stelt etter natten, og igjen til kvelden, som nevnt lenger oppe. Ved et tilfelle hvilte vi da rengjA¸ringspersonalet kom for A¥ ordne til natten. Da hang det en lapp om at de hadde vA¦rt der, da vi gikk ned for A¥ spise middag om kvelden, med oppfordring om A¥ gi beskjed nA¥r vi ville ha det klargjort. Vi tenkte det ikke var sA¥ farlig, men da vi kom opp senere pA¥ kvelden hadde de faktisk vA¦rt der likevel! SA¥ de i resepsjonen mA¥ ha ordnet med beskjeden da vi kom ned, uten at vi sa noe til noen. Da var vi imponert. Det sa noe om graden av service her syntes vi. Kan nesten ikke fA¥ anbefalt dette nok, faktisk. Vi spanderte pA¥ oss den luksusen A¥ bli hentet pA¥ flyp"
